Hi, I’m Lynn.

I help families create thoughtful, personal celebrations of life that honor the person they love and feel true to who they were.

My role is part planner, part organizer, and part steady presence. I help guide families through the decisions, logistics, vendors, timelines, and details that can feel especially heavy during grief.

Why I do this

I believe a celebration of life should feel personal, not generic. It should reflect the stories, personality, relationships, traditions, and little details that made someone who they were.

That belief is what led me to create The Parting Planner: to give families thoughtful, practical support during a time when they may not have the energy or space to manage everything themselves.

Experience that supports the work

My work is informed by experience in event coordination, end-of-life education, and service within the end-of-life care community. I bring both organization and compassion to the planning process, helping families feel supported from the first conversation through the day of the gathering.
